Danby white marble Description

Hi  Maurizio,

I am considering using a white honed Danby Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) on my kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) s. I have picked a very busy hand (http://maplered.com) painted European tile for the backsplash. The tile mural is white, blue yellow and (http://maplered.com) green. The busyness of the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) s I have looked at, seem to clash with my tile. My decorator wants me to use white Corian or tile because of the problems with Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) . She says I will get stains from things like red wine. I am in love with the look of the white Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) however.
What is your opinion of this choice? (the Danby Marble)
1. What should I use to seal it?
2. How should I clean it?
3. Can I bleach it if it stains?
4. Can I sand (http://maplered.com) out the etch marks?
5. If you would not recommend Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) could you help me with an alternative Stone (http://g603.net) ?

I have spent hours researching this and (http://maplered.com) get soooo many different answers.

Please help,
Susan.
